This is a special chance to learn the endangered craft of skep-making using long straw and cane lapping, taught by leading expert skeppist Chris Park. Employing the straw binding technique of ‘lipwork’ Chris will show you how to bind straw to make a skep, used by beekeepers in UK until the last century, and still in use in other nations.
By the end of the day you will have learned much about skep beekeeping, completed about half of your skep, and have the tools and materials to finish at home. This Course includes refreshments, tea and cake, however you do need to bring your own packed lunch.

Cancellation policy
Strict - If you cancel, a full refund can be obtained up to 28 days before the Course date. If you cancel within 28 days of the Course date, we are unable to offer refund.
If we cancel the Course, we will refund your full fee.
